1. This may look like glow-in-the-dark seaweed, but it is actually a sea slug. Also, Dear Science, this is a terrible name. Please to see Sparklemuffin as a reference for future naming possibilities.

So, outside of being voted most awesome looking sea slug, it turns out this particular sea slug has an important scientific function:  It has been called the “missing link” between the sea slugs that feed on hydroids and those that eat corals.We should also note, this pic is perhaps a little misleading, because this little guy is less than an inch long.
