Jung Youth is a pretty good rap name, seeing as it works on multiple levels, one of them being a WuTang reference. Not sure if that was something they took into consideration when they booked him. He put on a good show. He had a band, he brought out Chancellor Warhol at one point—this is all proof that Nashville Rap is officially A Thing, if you didn’t already know.
And there I was, in the photo pit, fumbling around in the dark with unfamiliar gear. Just like prom night. A few others were in there with me, not many at all, and afterwards none of them looked like they felt like talking.
So I went back to sit down and wait another hour until Dillon Cooper came out.
And after that, a hype man. And then a DJ. Finally, the men of the hour took the stage.
