Celebrities are hit with some ridiculous lawsuits, but this one really runs afoul. New-mom Mila Kunis is being sued for allegedly stealing a chicken.
Kristina Karo says she attended first grade with the starlet some 25 years ago in the Ukraine and that they were BFFs. Kunis spent a lot of time at Karo’s house and soon became attached to Karo’s beloved pet chicken, Doggie. You know what happens next: Doggie disappeared. All evidence pointed to Kunis as the chicken-napper, and Karo says, once confronted, Kunis copped to it. “Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm,” she allegedly said.
Left without Doggie the chicken, Karo had to seek therapy. Eventually, she was able to go on with her life and she moved to L.A. to pursue a singing career. But residing in the same city as her nemesis brought back all the pain. And now she wants Kunis to pay for her sins. Karo is seeking $5,000 for therapy and emotional distress.
Oh, and Karo just so happened to release a video for her song “Give Me Green Card.” But we’re sure the timing is purely coincidental.
Karo spoke to TMZ and said she hopes Doggie is still alive, or at least in “chicken heaven.” She also doesn’t appreciate how the media is making a mockery of her doggone situation.
For her part, Kunis thinks the whole thing is preposterous and posted this video response to the lawsuit with the help of baby daddy Ashton Kutcher.
We’d love to see this one shake out on The People’s Court.
