5) Mid-Exam: Lean Protein Is Your Lunchtime Pal
You really should have already decided what you will eat for lunch during both days of the bar, because you are an organized and adult person. But just in case that’s the furthest thing from your mind, I’m here to tell you what to do. First, you absolutely have to eat lunch. Have. To. Your brain simply won’t function for 7 hours at maximum power if you don’t feed it midway through. But eating is a minefield, of course. Spicy food that tastes delicious but makes you feel dyspeptic? Bad idea. Carb-heavy nap-inducing pasta? Poor life choice. Vending machine food because you forgot to plan for anything? Come ON, people. Try fish, beans, lean meats, a handful of nuts…just eat like a goddamn grownup already. I highly recommend having someone deliver you sushi for lunch. Seaweed plus rice plus some veggies plus some fish will fuel you without making you afternoon naptime stupid. Of course if the idea of sushi repulses you, now is not the time to start experimenting, but you get the general idea.
