Josh Brolin, shocked to discover that his starring role in Oliver Stone’s upcoming pic, “W,” centers on the most unpopular commander-in-chief in the history of the universe, and not, as his agent had originally told him, on the founder of the sexy, mid-priced hotel chain, lost control this weekend and was arrested for brawling in a bar in Shreveport, Louisiana, where the film is currently shooting.
Six others were arrested alongside Brolin for public intoxication and resisting arrest, including Jeffrey Wright, the Golden-Globe- and Tony-award-winning actor playing Colin Powell to Brolin’s Dubya in the upcoming flick.
No one was significantly injured in the scuffle, but witnesses claim that police used mace and a stun gun on Wright. Shreveport police have yet to substantiate these rumors, but a call to Wright’s publicist has confirmed that, despite his efforts this weekend, theatergoers everywhere still have no idea who the hell Jeffrey Wright is.
