That Was Unexpected: Eurovision 2016 Round-Up

Despite our love of the EDM and disco that makes up half of Eurovision (the rest being vapid yet soulful ballads), we appreciate a genre switch-up as a palate cleanser. So even though it’s not anything we’d normally listen to – and the lyrics are affable nonsense, instructing us to “slow down if we can’t go on” – we are reluctantly fond of the Netherlands’ French Stewart lookalike and Johnny Cash wannabe, Douwe Bob. (We presume it’s pronounced Dewey Bob, like Dewey Cox.)
