It’s a Wi-Fi Safe!

“Safe” is not actually the word I’d use to describe this black, internet-connected box. “Ludicrously insecure by its very definition,” is much more accurate. Sure, it’s fireproof. Sure, it’s waterproof. Being able to notify the user if it’s moved for any reason is a pretty cool feature. But then we learn that we can lock and unlock it with an app. NO. BAD. I shouldn’t have to spell out why this is a terrible idea, but hacking a phone is so, so, so much easier than cracking a safe that it’s not even funny. Stick with a combination lock, you guys.
