Tauheed Epps, aka the rapper 2 Chainz, formerly known as Tity Boi, and father to Heaven, Harmony, and Halo, is celebrating his recent win in a court of law.
2 Chainz…you know 2 Chainz, right? Here he is performing the ditty “Milli Billi Trilli.”
So what happened was, this nice, young lady by the name of Christine Chisholm got invited backstage at a March 2014 2 Chainz show by one of his friends, rapper Cap 1. Once there, Christine found herself the subject of a video being filmed for 2 Chainz’s blog in which he repeatedly referred to her as a THOT. Now don’t go rushing off to acroynym.com to look it up—we’ve already done that for you. THOT stands for “that ho over there.”
How dare you, sir!
The video was viewed 10 million times and Christine says she was fired from her job at a barbershop as a result. The bossman thought it would bring bad publicity to the establishment. So, Chisholm sued 2 Chainz for $5 million.
“Chisholm claims being called a ho subjected her to harassment and abuse in public and has severely damaged her reputation.”
Well, a federal judge in North Carolina handed down the decision: “Hell, no,” and dismissed the case, asserting that calling someone a THOT does not qualify as “extreme or outrageous conduct.”
You’re off the hook, Chain.
